Undergraduate Series
(2012-2015)

My Undergraduate degree offered myself the opportunity to work within a variety of mediums. Focusing on Illustration and Painting, I began to develop working surrounding Folklore and Fairy Tales, within my practise and Research.

My BA Disseration covered the ever changing image of Snow White. Whilst my art practise began to explore with colour and landscapes. In particular forestry. For my final piece I tested the perception of portrait landscapes. Working on two 6ft by 4ft canvases I imposed the idea of a door way, down two distinct paths.

The piece 'Into the Woods' (displayed above), motivated me and gave me the confidence to push this notion. Past a BA into my MA and beyond.
